The brief -

This Slurpee man logo was generated for a post interview assignment for Fresh 22, a local clothing Company.

I was tasked with creating a Slurpee man character based on imagery provided to me by the Company. I took inspiration from not only the imagery provided but from a local artist named Chris Morin, tye-dye and various other images found on the web.

This was one of my favorite logos I created in 2021, the bright colors, the strong presence and pose that this character has, just really brings him to life and it just jumps off the “page”.

After quite a few sketches and asking around to friends and family how Slurpee man should look. I settled on this “strong” lively pose for the character.

The colors were selected out of a Tye-dye image I found, to evoke brightness and fun for everyone. The font I downloaded, called “Soft Marshmallow Turbo”. I warped the font to conform to the cup’s “chest” and added some cartoon shine highlights to make it pop!
